1. Who we are
Kalsig is a trading name of Rivvey Technologies ("Kalsig", "we", "us"). We provide businesses with short briefs about events at UAE companies, prepared from public sources, and we decide how the personal data below is used. Our website and service are for businesses and for people aged 18 or over. Contact: support@kalsig.com.
2. What we collect
- Website visitors: technical data your browser sends (such as IP address, browser and pages viewed) and anything you send us.
- Clients: name, work email, company, job title, your customer profile, the briefs you unlock and how you use the Kalsig workspace. Card payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe); we see only the card type, last four digits and payment status.
- People named in briefs: company events come from public registers, news and press releases. To find the right contact, our team reviews company websites and public LinkedIn profiles by hand. We record only business details: name, job title, company, a published work email or telephone number, and a link to the source. We do not record home addresses or personal details, or monitor anyone's online activity.
- Opt-out requests: your name, company and the date of your request.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service, take payment and keep accounts secure (our contract with clients).
- To keep tax and financial records (our legal obligations).
- To tell clients about public events at companies and who to contact there, using business information that has been made public. Kalsig approves every brief, and anyone named may object at any time.
- To reply to you and send service updates.
4. Who sees it
We do not sell personal data. A person's details are shown only to clients who unlock a brief about their company. We also share data with service providers acting on our instructions (hosting, our payment provider Stripe, our sign-in provider Clerk, email, and AI and web-data providers that help us prepare briefs), some of which are outside the UAE, including in the United States, under contracts that require it to be protected; with advisers bound by confidentiality; with authorities where the law requires; and with a buyer if our business is sold.
5. How long we keep it
Briefs and their contacts are kept active for 90 days from the event, then archived and deleted or anonymised once no longer needed; clients keep the briefs they have unlocked. Client account and billing records are kept for as long as you hold a plan and up to 5 years after for tax and legal purposes. Website logs are kept for up to 90 days. The opt-out list is kept so that your opt-out continues to apply.
6. Your rights and opting out
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you may ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or stop our use of it, or to withdraw consent. Email support@kalsig.com; we may need to verify your identity and will respond within 30 days.
If you are named in a brief and would prefer not to be, use our opt-out page or email support@kalsig.com with the subject "Opt out". We handle each request within 5 business days, remove you from briefs not yet unlocked and, where practical, inform clients who have already unlocked one. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the UAE Data Office.
7. Cookies and security
We use only cookies needed for the website and Kalsig workspace to work: sign-in, security, and card payment at checkout (set by us, Clerk or Stripe). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies; see our Cookie Policy. We protect data with encrypted connections, access controls and a managed sign-in service, and will notify you and the authority of a breach where the law requires.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date, emailing clients about significant changes.
